I would avoid this guest house go somewhere alot better. There is always people smoking drugs in the door way management are oblivious to it day or night. I will never stay there again not a nice place.

Lovely cute room with quaint furniture. Comfy bed. Clean room. The owner is absolutely wonderful - so friendly! Definitely recommend as it is so close to town and the beaches. Tea facilities were good as well. Rooms also come with a hairdryer so ladies you don't need to pack one! And it's pretty decent.

......from an amazing 4 day stay at Fairview. From the moment we arrived we were treated like long lost friends and felt nothing was too much trouble. The location is fab, with Newquay town centre at the bottom of the hill & Fistral beach and the other beaches along the coast only about a 20 (albeit very hilly)minutes walk away. The bedrooms although may be small for some are immaculately clean,as is the rest of the hotel, with fresh towels & room service everyday!Breakfast was plentiful and set you up for a good day exploring what Newquay has to offer! This hotel really is a gem of a find and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Me and my girlfriend decided to go on a road trip around Cornwall we just stayed the one night but would of happily stayed another had we been staying in Newquay longer! Hosts were super friendly and the bed was really comfortable it's not posh by anymeans but it doesn't pretend to be it was 43 a bargain! We managed to find parking with out any problems but it's on a road so could cause potential problems but it's so close to town and beach but also far enough out to not be noisy if your looking for a cheap get away we'd highly recommend it!!

When choosing this place I was attracted by the price of stay and location. It was indeed convenient to explore the city and go to the beach from guest house. Rooms were fine, very small bathroom and kitchen looking unpleasant enough not to have breakfast there. The real surprise came during the night when I was bitten by bedbugs. The host was unfriendly-surprised and haven't apologized.

So tiny... no space to turn sideways in ensuite shower room which smelled damp.. Comfortable bed. Clean room. view from bedroom window - a roof!!! No available parking. Paid £45 for one night which doesn't sound bad. but compared to other venues stayed at throughout the week, it was not good value. Would not stay again.

It States on the web site that the room is a small ensuite double we have larger rooms that are a bit more expensive we are in the centre of town so don't have country views we don't have parking and it can be a problem at busy times especially in August it says this on the site so you no before you book the accommodation

This guest house was perfect for what we needed. 5-10 minutes walk from all the restaurants, beaches, supermarkets and shops, as well as attractions such as the local Zoo and leisure centre. The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh towels and bin emptied everyday. The owner, Jay could not have been more useful. Every place he suggested to eat, visit or use was excellent and he was more that willing to help out with whatever we needed. The en-suite is a little small, but this wasn't a problem for what we needed. Excellent place for your money!

For a short (couple of days) stay this Hotel is fine. You get towels,a comfy bed and a wardrobe, a hair dryer,a kettle and a handy pack of leaflets on local attractions. Its not far from a local Asda and the train station and police station. Some rooms have unsuit but not all. Ours was tiny, it was the size of a built in wardrobe. About 2.5 meters at most long and half a meter wide. Cosey. The Tv is about 18inch but you get free view. Our bed was super comfy though. Its about 5 minutes walk from the local weatherspoons and a few other pubs, take aways and a Dominos so you won't starve. Me and my partner had breakfast at the local weatherspoons for about £6 total for both of us inc drink (may 2014) so can't really knock it. Its about a 10 minute walk to the main beach in Newquay which isn't bad. All in all it is good value for money and the owners are super friendly (they have a cute little dog too) and you get clean towels every day and your mini bin is taken out every day so for what you pay it's a pretty good deal. But if you like fancy bathrooms or a bath then this place is not for you. We were quite happy with what we got for our money.

Great value had a good stay whilst visiting family room was superb and great value even for a budget room tge only bones I could pick at were it was a bit cold for my young children during the night and would have been a little more hygenic to have had sachets of tea/coffee/sugar instead of shared pots but overall was a very good deal we came away happy and the service was better than ive seen in 4 & 5*hotels next time we visit family this is where we will be staying we hope ;)
