Stayed here for the first time with my wife. You approach the hotel through a mundane housing estate until you see the welcoming sign for the hotel and a short driveway brings you to the hotel which has extensive grounds. The hotel consists of the original Manor house with modern extension blocks and leisure centre. There is an indoor and... More

This is a comfortable hotel and the food is very good for this standard of hotel. Bar food is particularly well priced although the main restaurant is rather expensive. Rooms are comfortable,if rather bland. Noise from overhead was somewhat annoying-just guests walking sounded loud and creaky so overhead insulation was not great. Bathroom is OK,shower curtain over the bath and... More

I stayed here one night on business 2 weeks ago. On the the spur of the moment I took my elderly parents for a spontaneous birthday celebration and we had a great dinner! Staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were comfortable - a liitle cold when we arrived but once the heating was turned up they... More

Stayed 3 nights with in-laws, husband & daughter and this hotel was ideal. Just a little bit too far out to walk to the beach/town etc. but very comfortable to stay in. Thought the meal was perhaps a little pricey (at around £28 for several courses) but they also do excellent bar snacks. My daughter enjoyed the leisure centre with... More

This hotel sets the bar for comfort and value for money, so rare these days. A decent sized double bed for a single traveller, bath and free wifi in the room, not to mention free access to a gym and indoor/outdoor pool (although I didn't work-out or swim on this stay). The staff were attentive and professional. Not to mention... More

Stayed here for a weekend in September. Hotel is old-fashioned (beds have floral bedspreads and blankets). We had a twin room and the springs would be felt through one of the beds, although both has seen better days. Overall cleanliness was fine but could be improved on. The room was small with quite a bit of furniture as is is... More

A good hotel, stayed two nights. Was in Room 15 which was on the small side, but with a double sized bed so not going to complain too much. Bed itself was typical UK Best Western, a very average night's sleep. Bathroom with shower only, but OK sized overall. Excellent lighting in the room, good to note if you are... More

I recently spent a week at this hotel with my mother. Our room was large, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The service and food in the restasurant and bar were also of an excellent standard. All staff worked extremely hard in a professional manner to ensure that our stay was just perfect. It is ideal for those who want a... More

I stayed this week with my adult daughter. We just wanted a bed for the night really. The accommodation is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Nice leisure centre so make sure you take your swimmers with you! The lighting in the bathroom was like a 'night light' and useless, and the light over the sink didn't work, sink... More
