I booked the Chester Belles after reading their advertisement on the internet. What a mistake. I booked the trip as a surprise for my husband for his birthday and it was a surprise all right. When we arrived we had to pay up front for the room. The landlord showed us to the room and said 'your'e lucky she's just been up to clean it'. When he walked out of the room I said to my husband'pity she didn't switch the vacuum on'. The floor was filthy as was the bathroom, the toilet still had a present in from the previuos occupant. The wash hand basin had toothpaste stuck to the side of it and the bathroom floor was filthy. The tea/coffee tray had spills on from the last occupant and the light fitting was hanging off the wall. There was a hole in the floor under the carpet and my foot went down it that many times that I had to put a chair over it as I was scared I would break my foot.
