Our stay at the Chester bells was very good, all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the food at the bells was worth every penny and was allways hot, on time, and plenty of it. The location is Exellent only a minutes walk from the centre of Chester so no taxis are required. Parking is a little restricted but... More

Two words sum this up: FAWLTY TOWERS! Jimmy still in bed at breakfast time after a night of domestic disputes which kept us awake all night! Only the chef and cleaner around at breakfast time. Tense atmosphere! Poor show!!! However the rooms were clean, spacious and ok for an overnight stay. More

Well the room wasn't really up to any great standard and many of the staff were as about useful as a chocolate fire-guard. The worst thing about this whole stay was the fact we went to leave at 8am the following day to find two people having sex in the hotel reception which we had to walk through before we... More

A beautiful old building in the historic city of Chester. The location is 5 minutes walk from the centre of the city and all attractions. Greeted by the new manager David who is as happy and helpful in real life as he is on the phone. Paid £5 for the car park which is secure. David has recently taken over... More
