This was the perfect location inside the city walls. It was clean, affordable and convenient. The only possible negative was the smell of smoke in the lounge and breakfast area. Our room did not smell at all and I really only noticed it at breakfast. Breakfast was full English, cooked to order and wonderful! Our host was very kind and... More

We were thrilled to find this affordable lodging inside the walls of Chester's center city! There is a car park located just a 2-minute walk away. Our host was very kind and carried our bags up for us, and offered dining suggestions. The bathroom and room were clean and well-appointed. The breakfasts were delicious - full English breakfast. My only... More

This is one of the best b&b's I have ever stayed in. It is located in a beautiful old town house, offering a very high standard of accommodation. My room was on the top floor and was very spacious and had lovely tasteful decor with lovely period furniture. The only modern touch was the flat screen tv which was great,... More

We had a wonderful stay. The room was cosy and restful and full of period charm. The breakfast was excellent and I must admit I did make a bit of a pig of myself. The owner is a lovely man who leaves you to your own devices, but is on hand to help when required. As the building is so... More

Fell on my feet here, I`m a posh tramp, love my food and wine, and my B&B`s, I have been hitch hiking around England for a laugh. Loved Chester and after a night in The Town House I asked if I could stay a second night, no problem said the owner, a real gentelman and if there was a university... More

We discovered this B&B when we did not like the look of the hotel that we were booked into by the travel agent and decided to go elsewhere. This town house is so full of character (both the staff and premises). There was not a straight line in the place which is to be expected since it was built in... More

We stayed in room1 at this B&B in July for two nights. It was a good size with en-suite, although it would have been a little better if the bath had a shower curtain so we could shower properly without getting the floor drenched! There was no sign of smoke at all. It was a very pleasant stay, friendly service.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in January whilst on our UK driving trip. We left the car in their car park and walked everywhere which was very welcome. The Town House is in the most perfect location for walking around Chester and seeing the sights and shopping. Everything was fantastic and we just loved the history and cosiness of... More
