A well positioned hotel conviently placed off the M56 at junction 14 midway between Runcorn and Chester. Since we were on the trail of long gone relatives this was an ideal spot with Liverpool,Wrexham and Northwich equidistant. The hotel is on a services site its true to say but that was also a plus as at the time of our... More

Stayed here Good Friday to Easter Sunday. Location suited us as we had planned a visit to Chester Zoo on Easter Saturday-only 8 miles along the road. Found Cheshire Oaks outlet mall approx 6 miles away with plenty of choice to eat on the Friday night and masses of shops if that's what you want (also has bowling alley and... More

A bargain in a motorway services, a rare thing indeed! The staff are friendly the room was spotless, it had shower and bath, the desk was perfect for using my laptop, the digital TV (est 22") even had a PC input. The room was in good decorative condition, the beds were a slightly firm but apart from that it was... More

This is more a motel than a hotel it is purley for sleeping in. Having said that what a wonderful room it was large and spotless especially the bathroom. There was food available a short distance away where you could have a burger or a breakfast and it was open 24 hours. Staff were friendly and very helpful. It was... More

We booked a family room for 1 night during the February half-term break which was £50. The room was clean and comfortable, bath had hot running water and bathroom well equipped with clean towels, shampoo/body wash and soap. TV was easy to use, and staff were very friendly towards my autistic son. Excellent location - we had visited Chester Zoo... More

Booked two nights, 20-22nd Jan 2012, with news paper vouchers at £10 a night.. Rooms clean, beds comfy, staff friendly although the reception is only manned in the evenings. Ideal base to explore Chester area. Only criticism was that there was not a lot of tea bags and sugar left in room. Really surprised that you don't notice the traffic... More

Booked the Days Inn @ Chester East using the £10 per night vouchers from a newspaper promotion. Booked Saturday and Sunday evenings with the intention of spending Sunday in Liverpool and Monday in Chester. I had asked for a top floor quiet room and so was a little disappointed when we were allocated room 39 which although on the top... More

Plus points - good location, you don't have to access it from motorway. They take dogs, and there's loads of ground to walk them in. Good size rooms. Clean. Quiet at night. Very friendly and helpful lady on reception on arrival. Ground floor room had been allocated as requested, no problems. Next morning shower doesn't work - hole in hose... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to review our hotel. I am sorry you had a disappointing stay, this is not usual standards for Days Inn Chester East, unfortunately that weekend we had a major issue with our water supply – thus causing problems in the guest rooms. This has now been rectified and we would like to... More
