I treated my wife to afternoon tea, I thought initially it was very expensive but you pay for exactly what you get. The staff, food, surroundings and atmosphere was fantastic. Always good to book in advance as a lot of people got turned away.

brilliant luxury hotel smack in the centre of chester. simon radley restaurant is an experience not to be missed. all fantastic and will go back. two massages just topped it all off. staff are excellent, attentive professional and friendly.

Bar staff need to sort their manners out towards its customers in the bar restaurant. Restaurant reservations manageress also needs to get her act together for telling us to wait for a table then let two people take a table before us. Love this old world luxury hotel in this lovely town. Had problems with internet all during the stay - which was a problem but overall a beautiful hotel with great staff and great food and drinks. Would highly recommend it and looking forward to visiting again.
