We stayed at Hotel Dragonfly for our 2nd Anniversary in January and we couldn't have selected a more perfect hotel. Sam was brilliant, attending to our ever need and was by far of the nicest host's I’ve ever met. We've had the privilege of staying in some unique and beautiful hotels across the country but taking the full experience in... More

I have nothing further to add to the other glowing reviews of Hotel Dragonfly but the least I can do is confirm that this hotel is fantastic in every respect. A huge thank you to Sam & Kelvin for helping to make my birthday weekend in Chester so great! More

We stayed here on our epic journey from London to Ireland, it was a pit stop - but worth the stop - we had a lovely room and the staff were very friendly and very very helpful. This place has been decorated to a high standard and you can tell that much thought and love went into the restoration of... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here on New Years Eve and we were both happy with our choice. The room was relatively small but had everything we required for a one night stay. The en-suite was also quite small, however, the double shower was nice!! The quality of the room and en-suite was impressive, the real stone tiles on the... More

A small, beautifully appointed hotel. Consistent, friendly and positive service. A great location in a lovely building. If I'm in Chester I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. More

It's always a risk, revisiting a hotel that was so good but that you haven't stayed in for a while, but I neededn't have worried. All the lovely touches that Calvin and Lucy had worked on so hard, are all there and Sam is a fine fine replacement. I knew about the location and the beds, the ipod docking station... More

I've never written a review on any site before, but I feel that our recent stay at Hotel Dragonfly deserves a mention. Sam, one of the owners of the hotel is a fantastic host - he couldn't have been more helpful, and his cooked breakfast was demolished by the whole family. The hotel itself is extremely comfortable and stylish, the... More
