Stayed at the Chester City Centre Premier Inn on a half-term short break with my two children (13 & 9) and it was a great base to explore the city. The check-in was easy (but I'd booked online for the best rate), best to snag a parking spot on City Road to unload and then park in the station car... More

Good location (5 mins walk from railway station and 5 mins from city centre) ; very clean rooms ; very helpful staff ; cheap rooms (if you book far enough in advance). Don't book if you want a cosy hotel lounge to relax with a drink. It does have a bar and restaurant but I wouldn't describe either as cosy.... More

Excellent location - we arrived via train so only a short walk from train station. Greeted by friendly staff and no issue with checking in a little earlier as our room was ready. Room was spotless and a good size with spare pillows and plenty of towels. A little road noise but nothing that would keep you awake at night.... More

Close to city centre, train station & some excellent restaurants. Staff are very helpful & friendly. Hotel very clean. We asked for a quiet room after reading other reviews & were given a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the car park no problems it was really quiet, we slept very well. More

I've stayed here many times over the last 6 months and keep coming back for more. Keep an eye out for the web sale offers as they are definately worth it. £19 bargain! This place is simply head and shoulders above all the other budget hotels in the area & I know from first hand experience - definately worth a... More

Writing this as I'm still in the hotel after a terrible nights sleep. The rooms are not double glazed in fact it feels like they are not glazed at all with the draft and noise. In room 132 which is facing main road but I feel as though I'm in the middle of the road! Room is freezing there was... More

First time we have stayed at this Premier Inn and we certainly will be staying again. From the minute we arrived the staff greeted us with a welcoming smile and information about the Inn and this continued throughout our stay. The rooms are the same clean very comfortable big bed clean bathroom and tea/coffee etc. We also took advantage of... More

I stay at this hotel regularly when I attend Chester Uni and every time I have been the service and standard has been consistently good. It can often be variable at Premier Inns but this is the best one that I have ever stayed in and its down to the lovely team of staff there. Some examples of them going... More
