We have visited Braye Beach Hotel 3 years running for our main holiday, we love the atmosphere that Scott and his team have created. The food is excellent, the rooms are very stylish, the service is very good, and having regularly visited, we have got to know some of the staff and that made this holiday even more special. The... more

This was my sixth visit to the Braye Beach Hotel in Alderney------just like the previous visits -----fantastic! The hotel is in a prime position overlooking Braye Beach --idyllic! Alderney is so like the England I knew in my childhood days ----totally unspoilt in every way. It's such a pleasure to find a place like this and it is REAL. The... more

This hotel is in a prime location on Braye Beach and obviously could capitalise on this fact. The rooms are ok, but the service downstairs is terrible. Mistakes with restaurant orders, slow and non existent service from bar and restaurant staff. Chef appears to be Manager. How can a Chef run a front of house?????? Sandwiches and etc are supposed... more

Braye Beach ticks all the boxes: great location, friendly staff and chic comfortable rooms. Service can be inconsistant but the chef is very talented. A very special place as long as standards are maintained. more

We were taken care of extremely well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel and it’s gorgeous setting. Everything was just right! The hotel is owned by the same company that own Blue Islands Airways and offers free flights to Jersey and Guernsey people out-of-season in return for a two-night booking. We pushed the boat out and stayed three nights. Absolutely first-class in all respects. Couldn't fault the staff, the food or the room. A thoroughly laid-back and luxurious long weekend. Far... more

I have to agree with some of the reviews here. The hotel and location are beautiful but staffing is letting it down and I doubt the 4 star rating is really deserved. Check in was not a good start. as we were greeted by a bemused Manageress who declared gosh, there are so many of you, having ignored us (3... more

This holiday was preceded by a trip to the “sister” Fermaine Valley Hotel in Guernsey which was excellent in all regards and is thoroughly recommended. Braye Beach however is a dilemma in that it is beautifully designed and executed enjoying a superb location overlooking Braye Bay but fails to fulfil its potential because it is badly let down by poor... more
