Great location for walking into central Cambridge across Jesus Green. Fortified with the delicious breakfasts, (the omelettes are particularly good!) we also chose to walk up to First post Reach to watch the bumps. The room was clean, comfortable and had a great shower. Very happy to recommend this B&B and we hope to return on future visits to the... More

Superb bed and breakfast accommodation, excellent rooms and excellent service. Would have no hesitation to return or to recommend this delightful bed and breakfast. Well placed in the beautiful city of Cambridge for a very pleasurable stay.

We were in rooms # 1&3, both are tastefully decorated. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms modernised. Free wifi is provided (and it works, unlike the other hotels we stayed in during this trip). Breakfast is superb. Do try their homemade honey. Hosts are very nice, soft spoken couple. Room #3 is on second floor overlooking the backyard so it's nice... More

Very good B & B, nice and clean, room No5 was a good size with a lovely bathroom and an amazing shower, nicely decorated, very modern, however if you have this room there is a bit of traffic noise as its at the front of the house which in on a main road, still a nice room though. There are... More

Very sharp & clean b&b. Modern smart environment. Great breakfasts and very attentive hosts. A little surprised the bed wasn't remade ( we had done it ourselves mind) and the towels weren't changed or at least folded up away again. Would definetly return though. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. PS very good fast WiFi.

The owners of Lynwood House set a standard for Bed and Breakfast in Cambridge which in my experience no others come near. It has been beautifully decorated with state of the art shower rooms, is very friendly and the breakfast comes with lots of healthy options as well as "full English". I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough - it... More

I am starting to stay in Cambridge for business on a reasonably regular basis, and for me Cambridge hotels are either too expensive, characterless or simply completely sub-standard. I have tried a number of B&Bs now in the north of Cambridge (easy access for the science parks) and this is the best yet. The terraced Victorian property appears to have... More

We have just spent a very welcoming and pleasant overnight stay at Lynwood House. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with a fantastic bathroom. Breakfast was a real treat, with many options all freshly prepared by Nick and Julie. The location is ideal for sightseeing around central Cambridge which is an enjoyable 20 minute stroll away. In May we stayed for three days at Lynwood House and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We had room number 3 and it was very clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. A special treat was the huge choice for breakfast and having everything (including the coffee) freshly prepared for us every morning. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruits in the mornings. Thank...
