I stayed at Avalon for 11 nights. Every aspect of this B&B is excellent: atmosphere, facilities, cooking, cleanliness, quiet, proximity to the city center (bus #1 stops right outside the door every 10 mn, you can park anywhere or walk to town in 20 mn). The owners are attentive to the details and everything works perfectly. Cannot recommended enough. More

Avalon was perfectly situated - close enough to the roads into town to get there easily and park, and close enough to the town centre to walk in in the evening. We were really impressed by the spotless accommodation. All facilities were provided,including tea,coffee and biscuits.Breakfast was delicious and tailored to individual requests. There is ample off-road parking and a frequent bus from just outside.Pat is an excellent host-she posted an item to me that I had left behind. There are only two guest rooms,so book early! More

We made a last minute booking for one night that was free and really enjoyed our short stay. Avalon is immaculately clean, Pat is very welcoming and the breakfasts are great. Add to this the easy walk or bus ride into Cambridge and the convenience of off road parking you have a very good place to stay. More
