The front of this building oozes history, yet everything meets modern day standards of comfort and cuisine. Stay in the Moliere Suite to imagine what it would be like in the 1700s. Then visit the Radnage Church to read about the publican who worked and lived there. A surprise awaits you. A little expensive but worth every penny. Breakfast is... More

We had picked The Three Horseshoes as a great location for walking and a midpoint between us and friends from Cambridge. We arrived 15 minutes before opening at 11:45; the welcome could have been more enthusiastic. We got over this quickly as we enjoyed beautifully prepared chicken and bacon sandwiches and fresh courgette soup. Well fed we headed off for... More

Took some friends for lunch and were very disappointed. We have eaten here many times and were looking forward to our meal. The cutlery and glasses looked grubby, the service lacklustre and the food nowhere near the normal standard. The bin in the ladies toilet was full of empty toilet roll holders and covered in dust, it looked as if... More

Just had another great weekend at The Three Horseshoes for 2 nights. Had lunch on the Friday - homemade burger and fries - lovey and moist, meaty and filling!! Saturday dinner - the steak was superb with the fat chips!! Veal with sauteed wild mushrooms was lovely - tender meat in an exquisite sauce. Breakfast was varied - fruit, croissants,... More

A beautiful location and a wonderful sunny day, what more could we want? Good food is the answer! The fact that the service was efficient and the waitress pleasant could not compensate for the fact that the food was not even of average standard. Eating out should be a treat and you should not be thinking you could do better... More

Sorry to say rather a disappointing experience when it could have been the opposite. This is a lovely pub in an idyllic setting and has been nicely refurbished (although springs were coming through on the chairs!!) but did not provide that 'something special'. Welcome and overall service was luke warm and definitely lacking in sophistication - and food, although presented... More

Stayed at The Three Horseshoes for one night to celebrate Valentine's Day. The evening meal was exellent. The staff very attentive. Room very comfortable, with stunning views. Lovely setting, with easy access to M40. More

I stayed at the Three Horseshoes for two mid-week nights on a business trip to Maidenhead. I had the Molière’s Room which was a very comfortable mini-suite with an exceptionally comfortable large Brass Bed. The rain shower, over the bath, was lovely. I needed to connect to the Wi-Fi and was provided with the free access code, by the helpful... More

This was a recommendation from family - and what a great recommendation it was! Easy to get to off the M40 yet located in the middle of nowhere. From the moment we arrived to when we left nothing was to much trouble for the very friendly and accomodating staff. We stayed in the Moliere Suite as a special treat -... More

Two families - 12 people in all - booked The Three Horseshoes for a special Christmas 'get-together'. And special it was! Considering the wide age range, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience, from the warm welcome to the impeccable service and of course the wonderful food. Most of the adults like to think of themselves as 'foodies' yet nothing but praise... More
