Slightly old fashioned hotel; however, the staff were very efficient and very helpful. The hotel was kept spotless. I had to kindly ask the waitress at breakfast to stop spraying the tables around us as the smell of disinfectant put us off our food. Our twin room was upgraded (free as the hotel had a couple of quiet nights, according... More

A reasonable hotel for an overnight stop before flying out of Bristol Airport. The Airport is not on the doorstep but we did have a deal with transfers included and free parking. The hotel is fine, nothing special or out of the ordinary but very serviceable. The restaurant is cold looking and uninviting so we had an adequate if basic... More

I stayed here for two nights on business. A strange looking building consisting of one original part with many incongruous later additions. The service was OK but lacklustre and the food in the restaurant was in my view like a supermarket ready meal. However the room was probably the biggest let down with dodgy shower, complete with laminated notice apologising... More

I stayed with a group of friends for one night. The restaurant was closed on the night we stayed, but, we were able to order food from the room service menu and eat in the sports bar (much appreciated by the footie fans in the group!) The rooms were clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed. Breakfast was help... More

If you do decide to stay at the Redwood Hotel, you will find it ok, not great but ok, you will also be blessed with no Mobile phone signal, but the staff are friendly, the issue I have with Redwood is the complete negligence of the Hotel Security and general concern for customers saftey and security, While I was there... Room on first floor was pretty good apart from the shower did not work. The hotel provided another room to use for showering. A shame really because the decor and quality of the bed was good It would have been nice to have bath robes but we were only staying one night. They do great Christmas parties and good breakfasts... Yes we had a problem with one particular loaf out of the some 600 loaves used during the Festive break season and we do sincerely apologise for this, infact we have dealt with a number of individuals directly to apologise and offer a gesture of good will for this unfortunate incident. More

I have stayed here six times this year as it is near my work, cost varies but is usually £100 per night which i think is quite a lot compared to hotel chains in Bristol. There is ample free parking and use of the gym so that's what you pay for. I have stayed in different rooms each time and... More

After reading some negative reviews I was slightly concerned about having booked this hotel. However I need not have worried as we found the staff efficient, professional and friendly and the room very clean. The room was very quiet (even though there was a big function on Saturday night). The restaurant food was lovely and the service excellent. We had... More
