I had a brief stay, 1 night only, at the Mercure in Bristol and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful and extremely polite, good food and drinks, great breakfast buffet with plenty of fresh fruit, healthy food but also the usual "naughty" pastries. The room was really great, huge and equipped with all comforts; best of all... More

My husband and I had a lovely weekend break on a bed and breakfast basis and stayed in a third floor privilege room looking onto St Mary's church. The room had everything we needed and was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was buffet style and was plentiful and well laid out. The reception staff were friendly and very... More

My 3rd visit to Bristol in a year and must say the best hotel so far. Layout is little disorientating, bar service was a little lax but they were paying more attention to the party in dinner suits than us in jeans. Breakfast was very good, but a lack of marmalade meant strawberry jam on my toast so no the... More

The hotel is in the ideal location for dinners/drinks/night out in the city centre and along the waterfront. I highly recommend Seven Shed for dinner. They do set meals for around £12 and the food and atmosphere are great! Good cocktails too and they're only a 5 minute walk from the hotel! For breakfast I would suggest walking across to... More

Thank you for your fab feedabck! The part about a member of staff looking like she'd been slapped by a wet fish was interesting!! Though I do apologise for this and I understand how that could have beeen disappointing after such good service from David. Please do look out for more special promotions and come and visit us again. We stayed here for the weekend and wow , what a bargain! The staff on reception couldnt do enough to help us check in and tell us everything we needed to know. Our room was first class and we could use the fitness suite and pool 24 hours . We had a bar meal which was just perfect and cooked... More

The hotel is in a good location all be it a nightmare for parking if their car park is full. Quite a busy hotel, but the rooms are a good size, could do with blinds or nets on the windows facing the car park. The drinks are majorly over priced. £7 for a large wine, so not a cheap night... More

Really good. We arrived in a secure location with parking at the back. So polite. We were upgraded to a Privilege room. Huge. Lovely bathroom. I only felt that if I left the blinds open, everyone would see me. Minor flaw. We tend to go to the gym early. The gym was small and it was heaving at 8 o'clock... More

We stayed here when attending a friends wedding in Bristol at the nearby 'Riverstation'. The hotel is convenient for shopping, restaurants & Bars in Bristol. We were checked in quickly to room 144. The room was large and modern. With large windows to the front of the hotel. Only problem is during the day passers by can see in so... More
