Stayed in this hotel for a full week, not only every second evening the lobby was taken over by private Christmas party loud guests, but the staff was rather unpleasant and unwelcoming. We had a two nights with one evening meal free deal. Very good value. Took us four attempts to get into the room - key wouldn't work so eventually they swapped the room for us! The Ramada Plaza is a perfectly fine chain hotel in a convenient location close to the city centre. It is classified as 4* by the AA but it must just scrape into that category. That is not to say there is much wrong with the hotel (other than that the rooms are pretty small) but it probably just does enough... more

Typical Ramada really - good quality but nothing extra special. Rooms and breakfast up to standard expected and convenient for city centre. Only problem the church clock next door that rings every 15 minutes from 7 in the morning - not ideal for a lie in on Sunday morning!! more

As it says above really! The hotel serves good food, is well located for the train station and is a comfortable base from which to explore both Bristol and Bath. The hotel also has a (very small) pool which is a bonus for a city centre hotel. more

At the end of a hectic business tour, the professionalism of the Ramada was very welcome.
