The farm is in a great location. Short walk to pub and shops and short drive to Chatsworth and Bakewell . Room was clean, spacious and peaceful. The hosts were the friendliest, most hospitable and interesting couple you could hope for. Breakfast was great too. Would thoroughly recommend for those who are looking for an authentic Peak District experience.

Excellent B&B in the Peak District. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a heater to keep it warm. Carole and Ian were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and Carole made sure to include enough vegan options for me. Really enjoyed my stay there and would be keen to go back in the future! Thanks very much Carole and Ian!

Yes, this was a good value B&B accommodation in Rowsley very close to the Shopping Outlet. We used it as a base to walk to Chatsworth (just under 3 miles away via the most direct route). The owners are very friendly, will go the extra mile to help their guests and have been running the B&B for a long time. For example they picked up the lady who was staying in another room from Matlock station and dropped her back (could have been Matlock Bath) You could go to other accommodations and get better modern amenities I am sure but Carole and Ian are very nice hosts

What a pleasure to introduce Rowsley Hall farm to a friend.. It is everything a B&B should be. It does not pretend to be a hotel. Instead you feel like a family guest from the moment your car is spotted as you arrive to the moment that you regretfully tear yourself away. We were immediately welcomed with a cup of tea in the splendid traditional farm house kitchen. Carole and Ian are such good company that it was 45 minutes later before we left for supper at a local pub. The breakfast was wonderful. the sheer quality of all the ingredients was exceptional and Carole and Ian were as good company over breakfast as they had been over tea. Also great value. I am looking forward to my next visit already.

Carol and Ian gave us a wonderfully warm welcome and made us feel very much at home. Comfy beds, lovely shower and a delicious home-cooked breakfast set us up for our day's work at the RHS Chatsworth Flower Show. The separate entrance to our room meant we had complete privacy and were free to come and go as we pleased. We will definitely visit Rowsley Hall Farm again.

What a stunning venue for a wedding. Lovely long barn just cleaned and set up for a wedding with added materials but the rustic feel left. If you like traditional features then this had it with charm and character xx

My husband, Petrus, and I stayed 5 nights in Rowsley and are so glad we chose to stay at Rowsley Hall Farm. Carole was an excellent host and made us feel so at home. We had lovely breakfasts with her before heading out to explore for the day. We had a 2nd storey room double and single beds which was very roomy and cozy. It was a great location to visit Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. We also went to Hardwick Hall, Stanage Edge, Lyme Park, very close to Bakewell also. We would highly recommend Carole's B&B to everyone!

We stayed Friday night as we were attending a wedding at the East Lodge. The farm is a stones throw away from the hotel so great place to stay. Carole is a great host very accommodating and friendly. The room was lovely, clean and cosy and a great view of the farm in the morning. Breakfast was just what we needed and ate it in the kitchen lovely homely feeling. We would certainly recommend a stay here.

Stayed just one night but felt like we were staying with old friends. Carole and Ian were extremely accomodating, chatty and friendly. Recommend this guesthouse, it's part of a working farm and is very rustic, cosy and homely. Breakfast in the main kitchen was excellent - just like being at my Mums'!! If you, like us are going to a wedding or function at the nearby East Lodge hotel, save yourself a fortune and stay here. (walking distance).
