We stopped for 2 nights for my wife's 50th birthday Danny and the staff could not do enough for us the room was comfortable but the quality of the food was something else never tasted anything like it and the sweets were to die for we will definately be back to sample the delight of Danny's cooking .

Stayed with a friend at this lovely B&B for a night. Rooms were clean and comfortable - and a short trip up the stairs from the excellent restaurant! Very friendly staff and great service. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We love to visit this restaurant. We always have a lovely meal! Danny and his staff always give a warm welcome. A very good wine list at affordable prices. Luckily we can walk home!!!

This country pub had a very good staff which gave us a warm welcome.The food was fantastic i'd give it 5 stars the whole family enjoyed every bit.I thought the Mothers Day menu was spot on (and especially the desert yum yum in my tum).I'd think the mom's did as well.

We booked two evening meals at this excellent pub whilst we were staying at the nearby Mayfield Hall. On both evenings we very much enjoyed the food and the service.
