Lovely location near Bakewell and Ashbourne, really really nice villages both of them. Not much to do on the campsite other than go to the Fasting Duck (or whatever its called) for a pint which isn't expensive at all which was nice. Spent 2 nights here from March 16th .... located in an old horse shoe shaped limestone quarry .... great views of the surrounding rock faces .... level grass pitches .... Just returned from spending weekend at the site in a luxury family pod. The pod was very clean with definately no cobwebs!! The weather was lovely on our stay which helped however the heater was available if needed at night. The toilets were clean and showers spotless however i imagine these can get busy in peak times of the year.... More
