I arrived after a long haul flight, was shown my room and the 4 poster bed was so comfortable I slept for 5 hrs. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and the hot water plentiful at night but if there were a lot of guests, was cool in the morning if you were up late. The... More

My husband, two dogs and I have just spent a wonderful Easter weekend at Manor Farm. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and were given a warm welcome on a freezing day by Rob Raines. The log fire in the front room was roaring, and Rob told us to come down in ten minutes for a cup of tea. We went... More

Tucked away but accessible, the proprietors are delightful and very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and as racing enthusiasts the nearby Lambourn Valley is easily reached as are the stunningly beautiful scenes from White Horse Hill. Magical. Thanks both

We were so looking forward to this break. We actually travelled down for Bicester Village but decided not to stay close by as we spotted what appeared to be a beautiful property, albeit 20 miles away. We figured the travel would be worth it. However, first impressions as we parked was that the property was totally dilapidated and run down.... More

We arrived tired and weather-beaten from a day's cycling. Rob was very friendly and locked our bikes safely in a dry barn. We were then served tea and mince-pies in front of a roaring fire in the resident's lounge. It was very tempting to sink into the enormous soft sofas and go to sleep there and then! We then had... I stayed at Manor Farm for two nights, and was made very welcome. The room was clean and a comfortable bed, there was also tea making facility; and in the bathroom had an enormous bath to wallow in. The breakfasts were very good, and made to your order. The property is charming and old, and the grounds looked very interesting;... More

An absolutely charming property just a few minutes drive from Wantage. I stayed here for a week and a half while visiting relatives who live in some of the nearby villages. Rob and Sarah are delightful hosts and I felt more like a friend staying in a spare room than the 'just a number' approach that my hotel in London... More

We have stayed at Manor Farm about half a dozen times now. Always have a lovely time. Rob and Sarah are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming. It's a good base for visiting the Cotswolds; but there's also plenty for children to do on the property. And our kids especially look forward to the breakfast.

We arrived in the middle of the worst fog I've seen in ages, so it wasn't until the next day that we quite appreciated what a beautiful part of the world this is. We arranged to arrive around noon, and were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us the room, but not until our dog had had a good... More

I'll start with the positives: the bed linen & towels were spotlessly laundered. Spent 2 nights here in a bedroom with sitting room & en suite shower above kitchen. Carpets were grubby throughout and the shower room grimy. Room decor was tired with shabby blinds & curtains and although staying two nights, the bed was left unmade after first nights... More
