a booking error prevented me from having a full suite at this stay. I had to settle for a studio which has a micro wave and fridge and a toaster....... not too condusive for cooking meals, but it worked. one of their staff, Amanda is absolutely amazing, extremely helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs... More

Capital Suites is a nice hotel. The rooms are relatively spacious by northern standards, clean, and well appointed (new flat screen if you are into that). The service was excellent and very friendly, the rooms are clean and nice. I would recommend better curtains, as the white vertical blinds don't do much to block the 24 hour light. The beds... More

I was here for a couple nights. The room was expensive by southern standards but relatively speaking, a good price. The room had a flat screen tv, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The hotel is in a good location, a few minutes' walk from the main grocery store, and also a short walk from the other sites of the town. It's... More

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The location is outstanding, a few minutes walk from the airport and very close to "North Mart" for groceries. Front-desk staff was professional and very courteous. They offer studios at $179 and one-bedroom suites at $259. We had booked a studio but got upgraded to a one-bedroom appartment. The appartment was quite large, tastefully... More

We stayed for two weeks at the Capital Suites and it was great. The hotel is centrally located which makes it easy to walk to most stores and offices. There is on-site coin operated laundry and Internet access. There are also two computers and a printer in the lobby which are complimentary. The rooms are large and have everything you... More

The Capital Suites is right in the centre of town, close to the stores, airport, and government offices. The standard room rates are also often the best rates in the city. The rooms are on par with a decent Holiday Inn, and nicely furnished and decorated. This is the Arctic, and things in Iqaluit are often triple what you would... More

The Capital Suites is in a pretty good location, somewhat close to the main drag in Iqaluit but not right on it so you aren't listening to cars crunching by on the gravel. The room I stayed in was really nice - I stayed in a suite, with a full kitchen, and it was immaculately clean and quite well furnished.... More

This is a little gem in the North. It's exensive, but not relatively. Everything costs about double up there. We were travelling in a large group. I think we used about a dozen rooms, but they were overbooked and gave 2 people a hard time about getting a room even though we booked 6 months in advance. The rooms were... More
