The Accommodation:
My wife and I wanted to book an affordable hotel getaway for our son's visitors day at Camp. I found the Oakview Lodge & Marina on a website. Since it was a short stay we figured how bad can it be? Well let me tell you, it was incredibly beautiful location, right on Little Hawk Lake. We stayed in a wonderful room was incredibly charming. It was perfectly clean with no surprises. The beds were really comfortable. I am a terrible sleeper and for the first time in years I actually slept in till 7:00am. Trust me that is a really good sleep for an insomniac like me. Other features include a main room with music, books and satellite tv. The also have a great candy store on location.

The Service:
In both the lodge and the restaurant, the service was the best I've had in years. The owner Valerie was so friendly and made it her priority to make sure we were happy. We had numerous servers and people helping out in the restaurant and Stephanie was... more
