We stayed in Willow Beach in summer 2008 and paid about $1400-1500 for the 2 bdrm ctg. Cons: We felt our cottage was not consistent with the rental rates - very run down and not particularly clean (spiderwebs on the ceiling and mildew around the bathtub and on the shower curtains, smelly bathroom fixtures - “Yaki” as my son commented)…... more

While the beach was nice, the kids club was good and the playground for the children was decent, there were significant negatives to contend with. Firstly, we found the cottage was very basic and run down. The walls were paper thin and there was mold in the bathroom. Substandard for what one would expect given the cost of the cottage... more

Had the opportunity to stay with family who had booked a week at Willow Beach. The cottages are pretty standard northern Ontario frame 2 and 3 bedders - all seemingly in pretty good condition. We've been going to Willow Beach for +/- 12 years now. Before kids and now with the kids. We know of families who have been going there for over 20 years! Our children consider it their cottage and have a lot of fun every summer. The beach is safe and great, the rope swing into the water is a blast.... more
