We were just passing through Amherst on our way back to the states and it was late like 2am and just wanted someplace cheap with breakfast to stay the night. This wasn't our first choice but was the first one to have any vacancies. The night clerk was very nice and helpful and said he was giving us the late... More

Dear “sweetpsycho”, We at the Wandlyn take all of our reviews and comments very seriously, and have investigated the issues that you have come across during your stay with us in August. There are many key points that we are concerned about with your stay, and wish to clarify what may or may not have happened. Since we are unaware... More

Stayed here 2 nights in October 2010 for a wedding, it was good value, a bit dated but didnt matter at all! Rooms comfy, pool was good, service at breakfast was a little slow but it was very busy. If I pass by again I'd stay here again for sure. More

When booking we were warned that they were quite full, so only had their older, tired, budget rooms available for $65 including breakfast, so we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised - the room was clean, and a bit dated (pink tub, older TV) but suited us fine. I couldn't believe it included breakfast for that price.... More

When we first arrived, I thought it was big for an Inn, the lobby was ok. .......But on checking into our room immediately another hotel came to mind "Bxxx Wxxxxx". I am wondering if this location was once a "BW". The lay out of our room was just like that of a BW. Any how in respect to our room....the... More

This motel is a little run down but the room was clean, beds ok, bathroom had been redone, wireless internet, and a pool. Decent sit down continental breakfast. Wait staff were trying very hard to be friendly and helpful. More

We were traveling on our way through to Maine and ended up in Amhearst at the end of the day. We asked at the gas station about a hotel and she pointed to the Wandlyn but said she thought it was expensive. We thought by the looks of it that it probably was but we decided to check it out.... More

The scents of atomized air freshener and carpet deodorizer was horrifying. My eyeballs were burning red after a two-day conference. I could not wait to leave. When I asked the front desk staff not to use scented products in the room, she said "oh, we don't use scented products" when I could clearly see the perfumed atomizers spaced at regular... More

Originally from Nova Scotia, now living in Ontario, we had to travel suddenly to Nova Scotia for family reasons. We were trying to be as economical about it as possible. But don't stay here to save money. Yes , it was inexpensive, and maybe they have better rooms but ours was awful. The room had been updated a bit (the... More

I went here with my wife to visit our son who was celebrating his 45th birthday in Amherst. Our son recommended the Wandlyn because it was newly renovated but was still offering rooms at cheap prices. I have very painful back aches and the room we were in had a soft mattress. I asked the staff and they were happy... More

We ate the most delicious meal of our two week vacation at this resturant in the Wandlyn Inn. The lobster and rib eye steak were the tenderest on the entire trip. Each table had flowers. The staff were friendly; and the area we dined was an inside porch with a view. The servings were generous. The prices were extremely reasonable.... More
