Gerard and Diane were lovely hosts. Their bed and breakfast is conveniently 20 minutes north of Auckland. The home is a English style country home on 14 acres and is absolutely beautiful. We had a very pleasant, quiet stay at The Amber's. We were greeted by Wolf, a very well behaved member of the family, on our arrival. The hosts,Diane and Gerard, were very welcoming and made our stay a pleasure. Their home is beautiful and is located in a truly peaceful valley. We would thoroughly recommend The Amber's.

We could enjoy a lot of different B&B´s during our stay in NZ. "The Ambers" was one of the most beautiful. The ambient, hospitality and breakfast were great. We will recomand the hosts and the house to our friends. It was a quick visit but very enjoyable.

Diane and Gerard are consummate hosts. Shortly after we arrived very late in the afternoon, they invited us for a glass of wine while Gerard discussed the pros and cons of nearby restaurants where we could have dinner that night. We had a really great time here. The house and the land is beautifull. I made a lot of beautifull pictures. we really liked the waka breakfast. It's a fruitsalade displayed like a maori kano. G&D you are the best!
