There are actually two buildings associated with the Brigantine, the Inn and the Suites. Both are located on the same road, one block apart. We stayed in room 10 of the Suites and were very pleased. The one bedroom suite had a king sized bed and was bright with 4 large windows, one overlooking the harbor front at Lunenburg. The... More

What a great room. Wonderful bed. Spacious room with a large couch, easy chair in the bay window, desk, small fridge located in old Lunenburg within walking distance of shops and cafes. The wifi was excellent, the bathroom spacious and the place was very clean. It was more than we expected. More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Brigantine Inn in the HMS Rose Suite. The inn is situated just above the waterfront and our room had a beautiful view of the harbour. The room, although not huge, had windows on all sides that opened! We really enjoyed the smell of the ocean. The bed was very comfortable and all... More

We stayed right at the Inn, not the Suites down the street and were very pleasantly surprised by the nicely modern room decor and finish. Room had a queen with pull out sofa and we made the mistake of eating the first night at the Banker downstairs and were so smitten with the food that we didn't really make it... More

We would highly recommend the Brigantine for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Lunenburg. We stayed only one night but wished we had more time. The room was very clean, the bed very comfy and the location perfectly situated in the heart of the main street, close to everything. We found the front desk staff extremely helpful... More

My wife and I recently stayed in suite 10 of the Brigantine Suites part of the Brigantine Inn in Lunenburg, and was disappointed at the quality and standard of the suite, considering the cost of CAD $1000.50 for 6 nights. On the plus side, the suite was adequate, comfortable and reasonably clean, although several kitchen tools such as the coffee... More

We stayed in suite 10 with our two young children. The location could not be better! Right by the waterfront, next to restaurants and the docks, just perfect. The suite itself is nice enough, if a bit outdated. The bed and the sofa bed were extremely comfortable and the rooms could not be any cleaner. It was a lovely alternative... More

We had no reservations in Lunenburg and had looked at various rooms around town. The Brigantine Inn's rooms were the cleanest and looked the most modern (bedding, decor). The man at the front desk told us that the mattresses and bedding were new, and they were getting great reviews. They offered us a discount for having a CAA card, so... More

My wife and I stayed in the Picton Castle room and would highly recommend it. Nice little balcony overlooking the harbour. Very clean and well decorated rooms, pleasant staff. We also had dinner that evening in the hotel's Grand Banker restaurant and it was terrific. You have to have The Acadian-style Cajun fish stew. We only stayed in Lunenburg one... More

Our room was above a popular bar and we could hear noise from the bar in our room until it closed. To male matters worse, the patrons would sit outside under our windows to talk (loudly), smoke and drink. Though the room was nice, I can not recommend it. More

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent visit and for allowing us the opportunity to resolve this matter to your satisfaction. The evening of your stay was also the return of the Tall Ship Picton Castle to its home port after its yearlong global circumnavigation. It is a lively and exciting time in Lunenburg and one... More
