beautiful old Inn with a great history. ....... clean rooms, superb beds, very helpful and personable staff,very convenient location, across the street from a park, spacious outdoor deck and grounds, good continental breakfast, very reasonably priced ...Nothing I disliked about my experience more

My husband and I spent a week in various parts of Nova Scotia and this was the single disappointment we experienced. The room was okay, but the 'king sized' bed was actually two twins shoved together with a very uncomfortable hump in the middle. We stayed at the Boscawen Inn for one night in June and thought it was well positioned in Lunenburg. The room was a good size but a bit old fashioned - china dogs on the dresser! The staff were very friendly although they didn't tell us that there was a guest PC downstairs in the breakfast room when we enquired... more

If you like your hotels old and charming, and you appreciate good value, you'll like Boscawen. It's faded and old-fashioned, a bit musty (although not offensively so). My girlfriends and I enjoyed a much too short stay at The Boscawen Inn in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, along the Lighthouse Trail. The inn is right in the middle of town, walking distance to everything. Rooms had hair dryers, shampoo, fluffy towels and included a continental breakfast with a view. There is also a nice open deck on the back... more
