Accomodations very good. Room clean and everything worked. Staff very helpful and when we requested 6 extra chairs for guests, supplied immediately and worker very reluctant to accept gratuity. Parking is across the street from hotel but no problem to park in front of hotel to load and unload. Stayed there previously under different owners and this time overall, very... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Clarion on previous visits, and enjoyed the stay, but this time, other than the comfortable mattress, there were a number of let-downs: Cons: Stains on the floor in the room; The air conditioner did not work; The coffee maker tripped the plug breaker each time it was turned on. My husband and I live in the Ottawa area but our entire family is in Edmundston, NB so we decided to have our wedding back home with our friends and family. I personally called and reserved everything with Clarion a year before our August 2010 wedding. I called them in mid June 2010 (10 Months since I originally booked with... More

Stayed with my family on our way to and from Nova Scotia. It was okay. The rooms were a bit worn. I wouldn't say the place was dirty but it could do with a renovation. They don't really clean beyond the surface, either. If you check at the head of the bed, there were like bandaids and stuff. They free... More

Pros: Super comfortable beds!!! Breakfast is good. Pool is much bigger than Best Western. Cons: Hallway carpet pretty stained, holes in the wall by the elevator on our floor. Paint and trim worn and outdated. Room clean but door on bathroom all scratched and peeling. Everything is pretty worn, and the pool area and adjoining showers are pretty grungy. Place... More

We stayed here overnight on a trip from Maritimes to Ontario. This hotel is located down in what seemed like the heart of the town. This was nice as it seemed like we got to see a little more of Edmunston and were more aware of some good dining options than we would have been had we stayed somewhere on... More

I have travel between Ottawa and Halifax fairly often, and recently decided to try this hotel. This turned out to be a good decision and I'll be staying here from now on during these trips. The room was modern, large and well appointed and an excellent value. The staff were great and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel... More

Pre-booked only room with three queen sized beds. Initial impression was quite favorable until the air conditioner began to groan so loud that you could not remain in the room. Windows do not open (a plus given this is a pulp and paper town), so air conditioning is a must in this hotel. We were moved to ajoining rooms, not... More

We paid $150++ for an executive-floor room. Bed comfort was outstanding. Shower was awesome -- a strong water flow. Pet-friendly -- no extra charge. Room came with two coupons for full breakfast in the morning. Avoid the steak-and-eggs. I think someone cooked up a piece of nicely-seasoned discarded tire by mistake! A four-star business hotel should aim for the impeccable.... More
