This was a great place to spend the night. I was looking for an inexpensive place to sleep. I was made to feel welcome, the room was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. It wasn't fancy but it was super. More

If your tight budget necessitates check yourself into a cramped time capsule dating back to the 60's. Furnishings are second hand garage sale castoffs. At $75.00 it was not an extravagance but it was not a bargain either. Traversing vertical blind was broken and malfunctioned permitting glow of red neon light into room compromising quality of sleep. Sound isolation in... More

Never have we claimed to be equal to brand name hotels, therefore this is reflected in the price you paid. If top of the line furniture is what you want then check out brand name hotels and be prepared to pay the price. Our rooms are clean and well maintained and upon verification of the blinds they were found to... More

This is a typical "mom and pop" motel near the highway but in a pleasant area surrounded by woods. The room was very clean but also very basic in terms of decor and appearance. The bed was rock hard, however, we slept quite well. The shower is a little weak, but worked fine. There is a nice attached cafe with... More

We were traveling back from a trip to PEI/Nova Scotia and needed somewhere to stay for one night as we passed through NB back to Ontario. La Roma was recommended on tripadvisor, and so we booked a room the day before our trip. This place is not a fancy hotel, but a great, clean, well equipped place to stay. The... More

We stayed in a dozen motels and hotels on our trip east this summer. La Roma was the most expensive, most rundown and the dirtiest. We found a cigarette butt in one of the beds (non-smoking room btw). The other bed was wet. We had no idea where the water came from and frankly didn't want to know. It was... More

We would like to say that we do take pride in our place and are working to make it better. Unfortunately things get by that we are not always aware of. We have no idea what may have happened and we are sorry for the inconvenience. If you would have asked for a refund immediately, it would have been given.... More

Great Motel by the highway in quiet, safe and well lighted area. Clean, roomy, lots of parking and excellent dinner. Beds are comfy, cable TV, small fridge in room and free wifi. Perfect landscape, outdoor pool is very clean and easy access to grounds, rooms and restaurant. Minutes away from city, owners and staff are very nice and service oriented. More

The room was a bit chilly but it was a cold Janurary evening. Scruffy interior but not bad for the price. I would stay there again. More

I stayed at this motel October and they charged me $70.06 for the night.I decided to stay there again on my way back from Ontario. The second time was 32st of October and this time the charges were $90.04.To me that is a rip off. They also offer free wireless internet and on neither one of those occasions did it work.Bad!! The owners of La Roma Motel made a potentially horrible experience surprisingly pleasant. I was on a comic book signing tour through 15 states and 5 Canadian provinces. As I passed through New Brunswick, I was about as far away from home as my trip would take me. As luck would have it, my car broke down and was beyond... More

We picked La Roma online by chance, swayed by the great rates. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by how charming and peaceful it was there. It's situated off the highway on a quiet woodsy road, nestled by a pretty little river, which makes the atmosphere very welcoming and enjoyable. Besides everything you need such as restaurant, cable, internet,... More
