A small hotel (20 or so rooms) with a great dining room and a beautiful lounge. Dinner was spectacular and the service was nice. There's a good wine list and the bar in the lounge is well stocked, including an impressive selection of single malt scotch. The room was spotless and in excellent repair. We're looking forward to going back.

Just had dinner at the Rossmount Inn, Warm staff, perfect food! Had the Salmon tartar for starters with a nice Merlot. Wanted to hug the chef afterwards, absolutely exploded in my mouth! Chicken breast + rosti potatoes afterwards which pushed my palette into delirium. Artistic servings all around. Couldn't have had a lovelier dinner!

We spent four nights at the hotel which was completely full. Rooms are very comfortable and simple. You have to book the restaurant in advance but it is well worth doing - the food and service were excellent. One recommendation - for guests who cannot predict arrival time, it would be good if they could be offered sandwiches or something.... More
