From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the wonderful presence of Sue. She took us into in house and gave us the historical tour. We stayed in the Godfrey room which was spacious and cozy. The bathroom was large and it had thick warm towels. Don't need to bring a blow dryer as it is provided along with... More

Sue and Mac the butler (Gord) were affable, helpful and good company, the breakfasts excellent and the ensuite Music room was clean, comfortable with private main floor entrance. As frequent visitors to Gananoque we've stayed at most of the inns and B&Bs there and this one ranks with the best. Easy one block walk to restaurants and stores in a... More

We recently returned from a wonderful stay at The Godfrey House. Sue was an excellent hostess and Gord the butler did a fine job. We enjoyed Sue's historical tour of the house as well as her insightful conversations. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. A great stay, close to all tourist attractions.

This is a centrally located, shaded property. Sue takes great pride in her place with good reason. She makes no compromises in quality or service. I was lucky to find this hidden gem in Gananoque and will for sure be back. The butler "Gord" was extremely polite and helpful. They will exceed your expectations by meeting your needs and anticipating... More

We were delighted to stay in this beautiful early 1900's house. Sue Henker plus her delightful butler was a welcoming and knowledgeable hostess and we were able to share in the love of her house. Her breakfast was a treat and not to be missed. Gananoque is a pleasing historical town with leafy avenues and riverfront age facing the thousand... More

A truly delightful experience. Sue was gracious, outgoing and a sheer pleasure being in her company. This old mansion is in pristine condition and beautifully comfortably luxuriously furnished. Our tour was very informative which very much added to our stay knowing some of the mansion's interesting history. We stayed with five other friends and Sue could not have been more... More

The owner/hostess of this establishment(Sue) greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and promptly gave us a tour of this beautifully kept sprawling old house, pointing out it's unique architectural and historical features. The rooms are large and bright. The "Music Room" is spacious enough to include 2 large pianos. My wife and I stayed in the "Godfrey Room". Another guest... More
