Beaver Hall excels in first impressions, namely a warm welcome coupled with friendly, gracious and efficient hospitality. It is always impressive when a host takes the time to familiarize you with the inn, your room and what's available in the area and then, remembering the names of over 10 overnight guests, introduces everyone at breakfast. Breakfast received high marks. Our...

If you are traveling through the Leads and Grenville Countries. I would highly recommend a stay at the Beaver Hall, in Gananoque. The main reason is quite simply its great hosts; Harrie and Agnes Tieken. From the moment you check in they offer you a warm cup of tea, or in our case, some ice for a cool refreshment.
They...

Beaver Hall is so picturesque and we were greeted by our super friendly hosts who gave us a full tour of the house, helped us settle in to our room and also find a place for us to have dinner. We opted for the garden room as it has its own little veranda to sit out on. Had a wonderfully...

Bed and Breakfast establishments invoke images of clean, friendly and welcoming places and this one tops them all! The high quality of this particular B & B is exceeded only by it's hosts Agnes and Harrie! Never will you find more caring and conscientious people which is truly a rare commodity these days. This is our second stay at Beaver...

Spotlessly clean, clean, clean, hosts Agnes and Harrie are congeniality plus, excellent breakfast (and socializing venue), nice relaxing yard, very comfortable beds, great neighbourhood for walking, 5-minute walk to river with swans, herons, and ducks, 7-minute walk to downtown "Gan", 8-minute walk to boat lines, 6-minute drive to Thousand Islands Playhouse. Excellent B&B. We are already planning our 4th trip.

We just returned from a wonderful two night stay at Beaver Hall. We were welcomed by Harrie and Agnes. They offered suggestions of places to eat (which were good). We were within easy walking distance to the marina and waterfront, downtown, theatre, restaurants and hiking trails. We didn't drive our car after we arrived. The breakfast is good and made...

When it comes to "thread count" or amiable hosts....I'll take "amiable hosts." Harrie and Agnes created Beaver Hall B&B just a couple short years ago with full occupancy now becoming almost standard. The sleeping rooms are large and there's a complimentary Internet station in the downstairs hallway. Harrie, a former Dutch Navy cook, prepares the breakfasts with guests being asked...

We stayed here with 3 other couples on a boating weekend. We loved warm atmosphere and the all the comforts of home. The breakfast was excellent. We had to fill out our 'requests' (I chose the omlette) the night before so we knew exactly what was awaiting us! Will definitely return to this beautiful B&B.
