Incredible waterfront location close to Campbell River city center. The property is in need of maintenance inside and out and is quite dated. Rooms were super clean and all have that wonderful ocean view. We had a tap that had been running hot water for months at least that would not turn off. We advised the front desk and they... More

I also stayed at the hotel after the blow out. This hotel sits right over the ocean and it to sustaned lots of damages from the big blowout. Of the millions of dollarsin damages in Campbell River I am sure it got thousands. I was warned of it by the front desk clerk when I rented my room, at a... More

We live in Campbell River and got caught in the Blowout of 2012 and had no power for three days and needed a room for a couple nites. All of our first options were booked, so we had little choice. This has got to be the most dilapidated, overpriced, and over promoted Hotel I have ever stayed in. We couldn't... More

We stay at the Anchor Inn quite regualrly and I felt it was only fair to tell Tripadvisor readers the truth about what happened the night "mikeyox" stayed at the hotel. We were the group that asked to be moved to a different room. "mikeyok" and his buddies were drinking booze in the hallway and being loud and very rude.... More

Yes The views was nice but that's it. There are a few other hotels with equally as nice of a view so don't wreck you stay by staying in this hotel. They overcharged us on our credit card and then said they had a limit on how much they can refund a day? There was a Christmas party in the... More

We found this place completely by chance and found it surprisingly good for an inexpensive stay. We were surprised to find that breakfast was included and although it was basic, it was fine for us. There were plenty of additional items available at extra cost if we had wanted more. The waitress at breakfast was charming and we had a... More

The view from the balcony is so good its like being on a cruise ship, if you are a sea dog or ship buff its worth it. The rest of the place is basic but ok - lots of hiking up and down stairs. Its sort of a subterranean mystery tour with hidden upside down layers including a large but... More

We stayed at the Anchor Inn a while ago and our experience was terrible!!! We were there for our honeymoon and I can't begin to warn you enough to stay away. We stayed over Christmas and were forewarned that there would be no restaurant service. That was OK But we had NO service for 3 days. No fresh towels, no... More

We stayed in both the Anchor Inn and the Travelodge in Campbell River. Very nearly 4/5 but this doesn't fall under the same category as other hotels i've given 4/5. Staff at check in were very polite. (However didn't make us aware of the continental breakfast). Rooms were basic and clean. Good pool and hot tub. Good seafront location. This... More
