I stayed at the Sandman Inn as one of my 28 stops this trip. I found the hotel to be the cleanest and most professionally run. The front desk staff was able to accomodate all of my requests for comfort. The carpets had just been replaced, the beds were new and it appears that more renos are on the way.... More

The Inn is on the far end of town heading West on the #3. It was very clean besides a few stains on the carpet. The bathroom was spotless. A fridge would have been nice but not necessary for one night. There is a restaurant attached which we chose to eat at because we were tired and did not want... More

While not exactly palatial suites, rooms are comfortably close with the usual amenities. The queen bed had an odd tilt to it (later discerned as a structural failure in the floor), which made for a disconcerting midnight slide to starboard and the meager foam chip pillows offered poor headrests. The old style 4:3 TV made a mockery of widescreen movies.... More

My friends and I decided to get away and stay in a small town and experience something a little different than living in Vancouver. We stayed at the Sandman Inn in Princeton the last weekend of June. While the Inn is not the most current (the front desk clerk told me it was built in 1971) I found that the... More

We stayed in Princeton for 4 nights. Very pleasant experience. Room was clean, well appointed and roomy. Fridge, microwave and coffee. Excellent restaurant just off the lobby with great food and good prices. I would definitely stay there again. More

We were arriving about about 9:45 PM into Princeton without a hotel in mind. By it's size on the map we thought there would be a decent amount of choice in hotels. There is not. All motels, ranging from average looking to oh dear, don't slow down. The Sandman is up this hill, slightly out of town to the West.... More

My Husband and I stayed in the Princeton Sandman on the first leg of our motorcycle journey through the interior of BC. This hotel was very clean just off the side off the highway so there was very little noise. The rooms were impeccably clean and very comfortable. We had stopped in around 8 pm so we were hungry and... More

My husband and I were in Princeton for volunteer training and needed a place to stay the night before. The Sandman Princeton is moderately sized and easily accessible from the highway. The hotel desk clerk was friendly and obliging. Our room appeared to have been recently renovated and redecorated. It had a small fridge which was sufficiently cold and wireless... More

You can probably do better in town value wise with a none chain place. I needed to prebook online and didn't want to chance not going with a chain. It wasn't an awful experience but like I said in the title the place really needs work. Not a crown jewel in the Sandman chain that's for certain. More
