Stayed here on Friday night of the May long week-end, over-nighting on the Trans Canada Highway from Alberta to central BC. Price at $69 was dirt cheap. Location is very convenient on and off the Trans Canada. Reservations (made a couple of days in advance) - courteous and competent. Check-In prompt (were we late due to delays on the Trans... More

The only positive note: helpful and friendly staff. Small room in dire need of revamping, no amenities to talk of, worst complimentary breakfast ever. Definitely not worth the price (got much better value for the same price in Golden). More

The location is very good for this hotel, but it puts itself price-wise in company that it does not measure up to. I'm thinking Motel 6 would be better value! We stayed in this hotel in early March, 2012 and we chose it based on price and also because it had breakfast included, and had a fridge in the room.... More

My buddy and I stayed here for two nights to ski the local resort. It's definitely not an upscale property, but it was clean and comfortable and the price was good as compared to other properties in the area. The hot tub was clean and spacious, perfect for apres ski, and two decent restaurants are right across the street. The continental... More

There was a gap under the door and we could feel the breeze: we were freezing. Electric baseboards had a hard time getting it warm. Cheap finishings. No alarm clock, bathtub (shower only) or coffee maker. Could hear the neighbours through the walls. last time we stayed in an upgraded room: was much better. More

The Gateway Inn is not so much accommodation as storage for your sleeping body and valuables as you recover from whatever you are doing in Revelstoke. That being said, it is run by pleasant people, comfortable, well-located and generally nice. It has a good hot tub. The bus to Revelstoke mountain goes from just across the road and this is... More

We stayed here for one night on our way through Revelstoke. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub on site. Our room was small and basic (on the first floor). The bathroom had a tub/shower combination, which was good. The ant traps in the corner of the room were less attractive (though I didn't see any ants while... More

I am overall satisfied with the Revelstoke Gateway Inn. There are a bunch of new renovations that have greatly improved the Inn. The manager lets you view a few similar rooms before picking, and I took advantage of this. I found one that met my vacation needs perfectly. It was big, clean, and bright. I appreciated how there was a... More

We were headed to Revelstoke and looking for a place to stay. We didn't need much--mostly beds and a kitchenette. So we got what we wanted that way. So it all depends on what you're looking for. If it's an overnight stay-fine. If it's a place to use as a base for day trips and then come back and sleep-okay.... More

Stayed here as part of a trip to visit family in Vancouver. We got a second story room with three beds. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The fridge, microwave, shower, and TV all worked well. The view of the mountains around Revelstoke were great. There's a train running nearby, and when you're outside, it can be pretty loud, but...
