I'm writing this review after staying at Poppis for the second year in a row (as part of a now annual ski road trip I take with my father). While labeled a hostel, it feels much more like a guest house. All rooms are private, and you're not crammed into a tiny living space with a ton of other people.... More

We were extremely disappointed of the services at Poppa's guesthouse. First the price is exorbitant given that there is no breakfast, the rooms are tiny and the bathroom is shared. We will never go back there because it is super easy to find a bnb cheaper with better services. More

We stayed here mid week in October and were the only guests at the hostel so had the whole place to ourselves! Best value in Revelstoke! Fully equipped kitchen so we could have a home cooked meal, free wifi, parking, comfortable couch in the living room with a massive TV and stove fire, comfy beds, clean bathroom and nice linen.... we were planning on camping in lake Louise but all campsites being closed we drove down to Revelstoke. Poppi's looked such like a sweet place in paper, wanted to check it out. loved the "make yourselves at home" feeling of the house. a very warm welcome for the two of us and our daughter despite the late and unanounced arrival.... Poppi's is a beautiful guesthouse/hostel which feels like a home away from home. The common rooms are cosy and nice, the rooms all a bit different but all look good and the owner (Poppi's) a very nice person. I can recommend anybody to stay there! Further more: Revelstoke is a nice place for a short visit. Live music in summer... More

We've stayed in a lot of hostels all over the world, and this was one of the nicest. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. The location is a short walk to downtown. Poppi was really friendly, giving the place a relaxed, easy-going feel. More

Only had 3 days here (slightly out of season), but the hostel is right on the edge of Revelstoke town centre so 3-4 mins to walk to, The hostel was warm Poppi is very friendly and helpful, beds were clean and comfy with a full kitchen and wide screen TV. Free Wifi or Internet. Great stay in a lovely hostel. More
