From what i've read, the reviews for this place are somewhat accurate....the staff is young, there are tracks out front, the elevator is slow.....so what. Just book one of the rooms facing the lake, and you'll have an amazing view of wildfowl and lake with the surrounding hills. It's a solid hotel for an overnight stay. The beds were pretty comfortable (though we had just come from camping in the Rockies for a week, so any bed would have worked). The continental breakfast was decent, and my two young girls (4 & 2) enjoyed the pool. more

Aussie family of 5 (children 7, 7 & 9yrs old). This was our 'half way' stop, between Lake Louise and Whistler. Great family motel, very reasonable rate, very clean and quiet considering it is on Hwy 1. Friendly staff at reception.
