We liked that this B&B was just 2 or 3 blocks from the ferry dock(Anacortes to Sidney) and just a couple blocks from the bus to Butchart Gardens. The staff was very accomodating to let us check in early and dump our suitcase, so we could get to the bus stop and spend the afternoon at Butchart.(Bus $2.50 each way-have... More

I stayed here for two weeks in April 2013 while moving a relative. This is a lovely B&B style very small hotel (9-10 rooms) all designed in an Edwardian style. It has the feel of an old English mansion, but with modern bathrooms. My room called "Galliano" was on the second floor looking west from large windows over the small... More

We stayed 2 nights in December. Great location, walking distance to downtown but on a quieter street. Comfortable cozy rooms, nicely decorated, super clean. We stayed in the Mayne Island room. This is one of the less expensive rooms, in the back on the 3rd floor. It was quiet, included a fireplace and a soaker tub. Staff were helpful, professional... More

The Beacon Inn is in the wonderful little towno n the Washington Ferry terminal, just 12 miles north of Victoria. Most folks bypass the town on the way to Victoria but we loved the day we spent there. Beacon Inn is an elegant old building with nice room guest rooms and private baths. Parking is off street in the rear.... More

We spent 2 nights in early August and chose the Inn based on its reviews on TA and the nearness to the Washington State Ferry System dock. Having been "on the road" for 10 days in BC, we wanted comfort and quiet within walking distance to restaurants. Our room was located on the second level (American) and it was beautifully... More

We just came back from a 3 day stay at the Beacon Inn and can't say enough good things about it. From the really good breakfast in the lovely dining room, to the exceptional room we stayed in, everything was just perfect, and you couldn't ask for a better location. We would definitely stay at this Inn again.

We came across the Beacon Inn quite by accident while looking for a get-a-way to escape Florida's heat and humidity. Everything was impeccable. They have thought of every detail of a traveler's wish. The full breakfast was beautifully presented and tasted great. It's quiet, within walking distance to sights, waterfront, great restaurants, shopping, and ferry terminal. The friendly staff was... Stayed one night for our one year anniversary. When booking room online, the website specifically asked the reason for the stay, so I selected - anniversary and expected some sort of recognition for this either during check in or in our room but nothing noted. We stayed in a Easterly room.... "San Juan", which was just lovely and well appointed.... More

I travel to South Vancouver Island a couple times a year for business. I found this lovely little B&B/hotel a couple of years ago now and have stayed there consistently since. While most of my business takes me into Victoria, the 1/2 drive is worth the stay and the hotel generously gives me a business rate. Staying at the Beacon... More

It is located just a block from the main street, so the location is very convenient. The inn is a gorgeous establishment. It has been beautifully and tastefully decorated. All the little touches make it feel like you're coming home. The service was lovely and timely. They have a good communication system between the staff. We spoke with one employee... More
