“Emerald is a Jewel!”

I entered a very clean, spacious and quiet room. Perfect for my 3 night getaway. There was a large counter area on one side enclosing a stainless steel bar size sink. We stayed 3 nights at this Best Western location in Sidney "by the sea". Very nice property with friendly front desk staff. Guest computer and coffee are provided in the lobby. Great location for a visit to lovely Sidney, BC - a seaside Booktown - and also very close to the Victoria airport. I did have a heater? cycling on and off all night. That wasn't pleasant. “Service beyond expectation”

We had some difficulty with an injury and the front desk staff as well as housekeeping were incredibly supportive. We were provided with medical aides for ease and the staff assured us that they were happy to help in any other way. It made a very stressful time that much less stressful.

“Tired and I'm not talking about me.”

Hi, I find this hotel to be convenient when we need to take a early flight. The value is here. Continental breakfast is only OK but it's food and it's out super early. The room has many amenities, and they are clean. Everything is just tired. I know I will stay here many times in the future and that's OK.

“Consistently reliable”

I stay here a couple of times a year and have been doing so for many years. I'm always pleased with the rooms and service. The location is ideal for visiting Sidney, within walking distance to everything you want.

“Great overnighter”

My wife, daughter and I recently stayed several times in this hotel. It's location was very attractive as it is literally a 10 minute drive to Victoria International Airport. This hotel will take dogs, which was a huge bonus (lovely walks in the nearby area) on our first stay. Clean, quiet, perfectly functional for it's purpose of an over nighter.... More

“Friendly Helpful Staff”

Even though I was leaving before breakfast was being offered at the adjacent restaurant the clerk made a recommendation for one that was close by. This hotel is very close to the airport but I did not hear any noise. Well facilitated room, relatively clean...but who knows these days after the expose on CBC Marketplace.

We appreciate your positvie comments about our hotel, particularly our staff - thank you. We work very hard to maintain high levels of cleanliness, our most recent (November 22nd) Best Western Inspection gave us a perfect score for cleanliness and housekeeping! My husband and I stayed here for three nights and had a lovely size room and very quiet. The first morning we left our room (Sun Nov 11) to go to the Remembrance Day Service with our son and daughter-in-law, the room maid even washed up our dirty dishes.
