This hotel is very rough. The bar is open until 2am and is beneath the rooms! The place smells of mould, the internet doesn't work, the restaurant is closed half the time and the front desk people would rather be on the phone with their friends than helping guests. More

Suffice to say this is not the jewel of the Coast Hotel chain. The rooms are very tired. The lounge is closed and the little cafeteria is only open from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Flat screen TV's ..... no way, the TV in my room is a Zenith ..... when is the last time you saw one of those???? More

Looked like it would be the best stay in town...3 cars in the parking lot (mine was one of them) says it all, when the Sandman is as busy as ever. I had asked for a King suite - the first one they gave me had water running down the inside of the window, which was being professionally soaked up... More

Mold in the bathroom shower Bad smell and noisy and this is suppose to be the best in town Try a B&B I have rated this the worst hotel motel that I have stayed at this year. In previous years it was not even close to the worst. This is based on roughly 20 hotels I have stayed at this... More

The hotel is in the busier part of town, so you can walk across the street to grab groceries, and you are near to the restaurants. The room was quite comfortable; however, when walking up the stairs to the third floor (where my colleague's and my rooms were), it suddenly became incredibly warm - fine for me, but my co-worker... Good enough for the $80 rate, and I only booked here to get the 500 Aeroplan miles. Terrace has little to offer in terms of decent hotel accommodations so this place is as good as any. View overlooked adjoining rooftop and HVAC system, microwave didn't work, but breakfast was hot, free, and gluttonous. The Coast Rewards program is pretty useless... More

I stayed in this hotel for two days on business in November 2010. I found it quite acceptable. The room had a fridge, microwave, and decent heater. It also had a couple of chairs and a table to sit around. They really packed a lot into this small room. The bathroom was clean and the shower was in good shape... More

I had excellent experience with Coast hotels UNTIL my stay at Inn of the West. The hotel was badly deteriorating and should be closed down rather than continue to operate as a dingy hole in an already economically depressed town. The room was in poor condition with dirty old carpeting, musty smelling bedspreads, and a heater that was broken. The... More

Any accommodation is preferable to this abysmal dump. The rooms are dirty, dark and rank. The carpets reek of vomit and the housekeeping staff can't wen be bothered to replenish the towels. The front desk and management are equally clueless. I spent many hours trying to untangle the mess they made of billing. There are no amenities but maybe at... More
