None of the hotel options in Valemount seemed particularly exciting, but the sign on the road before we got there said it was the only hotel in town with a restaurant/bar and we were tired. We were "upgraded" to a king room because the queen had lights in the room that would not turn on. The King was a disaster.... More

I came through Valemount on my tour of the Canadian Rockies. My family decided to stay here overnight and we were quite pleased. The room was neat and clean and the kids took full advantage of the pool and hot-tub. Value was excellent and one of the best in town. If I ever come back to this wonderful town, this... More

We stayed here for a weekend on Aug 6-7 2011, for a birthday in Valemount. When we arrived late in the night, the room was unclean and there were muddy footprints on carpet. My in-laws were in the next room, and when we saw them in the morning, they said "We had heard our conversation through the walls". We are... More

We stayed here because we got to tired to carry on driving on Aug 2,2011 . It was a mistake. If you have pets it may be one of your only options in town. We rented a 1 bdm "Suite" for $140 plus tax. The beds had clean linens on them and that was the only clean part of the... More

Stayed in room #125 and noticed a really bad smell. Upon closer inspection noticed mice droppings, shavings etc in bathroom. My friend removed his bed covering and seen a wet odour stinch on the pillow cover. still cant believed we stayed at another room in the same hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE unless u are desperate. More

This was our second stay at Alpine Inn. Pros: Comfortable beds, and location Cons: Very, very noisy, the walls are paper thin. The hot water didn't work on the bathroom sink everytime you tried to turn it on the pipes shook and made this terrible grinding noise (probably air locks in the pipes). Sounded like the pipes were going to... More

My Ratings Explained: Cleanliness: Dirty toilet, a fat dirty mat placed in shower, dirty carpet I wouldn't even leave my jeans on. The toilet could have been easily scrubbed clean in less than 2 minutes which led me to doubt the sanitation of the whole place, indeed the pillows did not smell washed at all. Location: Almost the easiest to... More

Pros- great location, friendly front desk, good matresses, clean room Cons- noisy, wood frame construction, you hear everything, getting run down, hot tub growing things, lights buzzing, needs renovating very soon. Cheaper calling then booking online More

I selected this hotel because It looked ok on the website pictures. We went to attend a mountain biking race. The motel is easy to find and situated right on the side of the highway. The decor is horrid, it has no soul. There were only plastic glasses in the room and no kettle/coffee maker. The windows screens were half broken... More
