Every summer I ride with friends around BC and end up staying at the Yellowhead to or from Edmonton. This is an old-style classic motel--ground floor, drive up to your room door--which is perfect for loading and unloading bikes. Rooms are spacious and always clean, the manager/owner is friendly and helpful, and there are good restaurants and pubs within 100... More

Plusses ... Reasonable price ($88 for one queen bed) for what you need for a one night way station on the road. Ground level entry, "sixties style motel" makes it easier to lug bags in and out. Real glasses and coffee mugs! Real windows which open so you don't need to listen to the roar of the air conditioner. Nice... More

Arrived at 10 pm and got the last room. Older style furnishings and beds, but a clean and very large room with a fridge and microwave. At $105 for four of us, the price was right for an overnight stop. More

The room was clean, quiet and spacious. The room was somewhat dark at night because there was a lack of lighting but this was only a minor problem. Furnishings appeared to be in good condition and functioned well. We enjoyed our stay. More

Stayed one night for $88 Canadian. It's a quiet location and has spacious rooms but it's an older place. Fridge didn't work and the fan was very noisy. Bring your own hairdryer. If you want extras like swimming pools and exercise rooms stay somewhere else. Exterior well maintained with flowers and pitnic tables. More
