We scheduled this B&B as a waypoint to Cape Breton and were wonderfully surprised. It was a rainy Sunday night so not much was going on in Truro, but we were warmed by the McDonah family's hospitality. The Minuet room is a little on the small side, but quite adequate. Very clean; good bathroom. Inn has lovely sitting room. Wireless worked... more

Along with another couple we decided to tour the lower half of Nova Scotia using B&Bs as we went from place to place. Belgravia B&B in Truro was unquestionably the best of the five places where we stayed. Anne and D'Arcy were great hosts and the rooms were lovely. We were told about a nice restaurant for dinner and had... more

My wife and I were on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia and found Belgravia via the internet and confirmed its ratings at TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon where Darcy's father, Dave, greeted us off the front porch. The home is immaculate and very charming. We couldn't get over how nice Dave and his... more

This was only my second B & B I have stayed in and it was a pleasant suprise. It was like staying in my own home. The guest rooms (they have 3 total) were clean with newly renovated bathrooms. I traveled with my family and we occupied two of the rooms. I wish we could have stayed longer. It's great... more

I have stayed at the Belgravia for many nights for many years. It has always been a pleasure and anticipation to pull up to the door and talk to Ann and Darcy and see the children. I was always made to feel welcome and my room was always bright cheerful and clean. I can still feel the softness of those... more

I have been staying at the Belgravia through the months of May and June for the past three years. As a business traveller I get very tired of the traditional hotel room options. I have found a very comfortable atmosphere at the Belgravia. I come and go as I please and basically just kind of call the place home for... more

Three friends and I stayed at the Belgravia Bed & Breakfast for one night in on our way to New Brunswick. Anne met us at the door and welcomed us into their beautiful home. The two rooms we had were fantastic - both were cozy and comfortable and came with a tv and a large ensuite bathroom. The breakfast of... more

Our family was only able to spend one night at this charming, well-appointed B&B, and we wished we could have stayed much longer. We used it as a stopping-over point on our way from New Hampshire to PEI, but next time will just plan to drive as far as Truro and consider ourselves properly vacationed. Excellent food, beautiful home, wonderful... more

I had always wanted to stay in a B & B like this: a beautiful, gracious, elegant, well-preserved older home with all the amenities--all the comforts of home (or better), with none of the cares. Anne and D'Arcy, the proprietors, were so warm and welcoming. They made us feel a part of their family. The food was great, and so... more

Anne and Darcy welcomed me into their lovely home. The home is beautiful and holds a lot of charm. The room was the perfect size and the bathroom was large with a stand up shower. The bed was extra comfortable and the sheets were so soft. Their kids were delightful. I enjoyed playing with the girls, Listening to Alex on... more
