This hotel has recently become a Howard Johnston. The owner is very friendly and willing to make your visit more comfotable if he can, the atmosphere is very laid back. By far the biggest rip-off ever. Very dirty, stained linens and covers, and a smelly and old bed mattress. Entire room smelled very bad, and the bathroom was in need of repair!!! The Kincardine Howard Johnsons has done many upgrades it seems from the last time I stayed there. The rooms are better, cleaner and the staff friendly. This is still a work in progress, as they are continuing to upgarde other rooms. Good stay, good people, good prices. More
