This is not a typical hotel where you get daily room service. This is a condo complex with different owners, so the condition of each unit may vary. Room service is done every three nights. We stayed 3 nights for a wedding on New Years 2011. The staff was friendly and helpful and check-in was very fast. We had a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment. The accom was really well equipped, and had everything that we needed. We were really happy with our stay. It was close enough to town, and easy travelling distance to Banff, the ski fields and the national park.

As far as we could tell the Lodges at Canmore only had 2 things going for it: friendly staff and it's pet friendly. However, neither of those would be enough to make us go back.
The unit we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures on the website! False advertising!!!! How about a small, hot, dirty, dated one bedroom unit?...
