I occasionally stay overnight for a YVR flight, and have used the Executive Inn, Best Western, Marriott, Delta and a couple of others. They are all well priced, and offer shuttle service to the airport, and some provide free parking for up to 2 weeks. We were flying through Vancouver and stayed for a night. The rooms are very nice and unbelievably quiet, given the location. Food in the restaurants is very nice. The gym however needs a redo- poor quality equipment and lack of TV's. more

It's a nice hotel however not to the same standard as other Fairmont hotels. Water pressure in the shower was barely adequate. Breakfast buffet was limited in selection. Service was fine however rooms need a makeover. Still it's the best hotel if you have a layover in YVR. The rate was high compared to other dwtn. hotels. more

As other reviewers have noted the Fairmont's location could not be better if your travel plans require you to spend a night near Vancouver Airport.
