I was given the pleasure of spending 40+ wonderful days with the people I now consider my Italian family, the proprietors and employees of Le Vescovane, and it was amazing. I did not expect to be consumed by the experience, however, the hospitality and sense of family that was shown to me was overwhelming. Rita and Luigi have created an... More

I had the chance to spend three wonderful weeks at the Le Vescovane in September 2011. From the very first night I felt like family. Rita, Giovani, Rim, Alberto.... the whole crew there made me feel very welcome. The room was perfect for me, the grounds and scenery were gorgeous and the food.... Oh My Goodness the food is out... A beautifully restored hunting lodge with one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. The staff is warm and friendly and you are treated like family. Remember, your considered family so, if you need something ask for it in polite and gracious (not demanding) manner. Your grace will be returned three fold. Most if not all of the... More

We followed their instructions and map up a tortuous track to the property to find not a quiet, peaceful "agriturismo" farmhouse, but a mini-hotel with a wedding in full flow. Our booking (made directly in Italian) had been mislaid. After we rejected the first room they offered (small, tiny window, smell of dust) they let us have the apartment (converted... More

I stayed for a couple nights with my mother and daughter after reading some reviews earlier. My objective was to stay in charming off the path that defy the typical sterile and bland hotel experience. To that, this place is gorgeous set in the Berici mountains. Our room was wonderful, and the property comfortable. No breakfast served at this time... More

Le Vescovane is a charming inn (agriturismo) in the countryside about 20 minutes outside Vicenzo. First the bad -- they lost our reservation and we showed up at the end of the "bridge week" when it seems all of Italy is on holiday. They were full and could not give us a room for the first 3 nights of a... More

Le Vescovane is supposed to be what Italians call an Agriturismo – a sort of countryside bed & breakfast, often a small farm offering their own products in cosy surroundings. However, Le Vescovane is more like a small hotel without the normal facilities of a hotel… When finding Le Vescovane on the internet, we were charmed by the beautiful pictures,... More

We booked this hotel based on the recommendation that was posted on your site from the couple who"got engaged there".We checked in on a Monday and from what we can gather most things in Italy seemed to be closed on Mondays!! There was hardly anybody around when we checked in but the staff was very friendly. Very charming, stone walls... More

My husband (boyfriend at the time) was referred to Le Vescovane by some friends living in Italy -- he had been looking for a romantic setting to propose and thought Le Vescoave would be perfect. He was right -- it was amazing! Our room was in a renovated, 15th century farmhouse. And we dined on the outdoor patio, overlooking rolling... More
