I spent five nights at the lodge doing bird watching and hiking in the forest, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A long drive along poor roads, with less than helpful signposting. But it is worth the effort. It is in the forest, in a very nice position on a slope overlooking lakes. Birders must go here! Birding from the restaurant is excellent. A spotting scope is great for birding from here and great photo opportunities abound as the birds (and sometimes coatis) visit the fruit feeders.
