Great service, very friendly and welcoming to our dog too. My sister lives nearby and therefore I have visited several times. This bed and breakfast is a real find. The owners are friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is very good. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the shower is great. I have visited as a cyclist and they... More

We have been visiting now for a good few years and the service is consistently good, on this occasion it was in February 2012 and snowing which did not deter Lindsey and her family from giving us the warm welcome and friendly service we have come to expect, the rooms, breakfast and cosy atmosphere is what brings us back year... I have returned to stay at St George's Court several times which speaks for itself. Excellent rooms including great bathrooms, superb food and friendly service. The location is very close to Fountains Abbey, a world heritage site which is open all year, unlike other National Trust properties. More

Just returned from an unfortunately brief stay at St Georges Court. We visited Lightwater Valley nearby (10-15 mins) and needed a room for a night for myself , wife and three kids. (6,4 and 7 months) St Georges Court was in a great locations and the host's were great in making us all feel very welcome. They gave us tips... More

We returned here after a previous visit, as we had enjoyed our stay so much. Our double room had been refurbished to a very high standard (though we did find the new mattress a little too firm for us!), and was well equipped for our 3 night stay - the flapjacks were particularly welcome! The breakfasts were magnificent, with a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while attending a friends birthday party in the area and cannot recommend it highly enough. We had a double room and it was very well kept with lovely touches. The breakfasts were outstanding and the owners incredibly helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend a stay here. More

We stayed here for a long weekend with our two young children and booked the family room. Normally we would stay in a hotel but we were attending a wedding nearby and trusted the good reviews on here - so pleased with our choice, it was the perfect place! A lovely large family room, nicely decorated, with a beautiful beamed... More

Stayed here with three friends whilst cycling the new Way of the Roses route (Morecombe to Bridlington). Stopped in Settle previous night and stayed at St George's Court night 2. It's marginally off the route but well worth staying here. Extremely friendly reception, spacious accomodation with nice little touches - rechargeable torch!! Why? Good to use for half mile trek... We stayed here for 2 nights while we went to a family wedding, we had our 2 1/2 yr old son and travelled with my in-laws. The rooms are so welcoming with loads of information on where to eat or go and seem to be based on personal testimony, they even had a small selection of books. It's these extra... More

Would highly recommend St George's Court to anyone wanting a relaxing weekend break. We usually stay in hotels, but can honestly say we were so lucky to find this place. Owners are so pleasant and professional and make you feel very welcome. The room was great, en-suite very roomy and clean with all amenities (including 2 bathrobes), tea tray contains... More
