We absolutely loved staying at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai...that is until the LAST night when we discovered my engagement ring and wedding band were stolen from our in room safe. We believe without a doubt that it was an inside job and that someone on the staff who has access to our room took my rings. We are not... More

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon. We loved it so much we extended our stay! We stayed in villa 1402 and had a gorgeous room with a private sala overlooking the rice field and yoga barn. It was stunning. My husband and I travel often and stay at some of the most beautiful hotels in... More

Not sure why Advisor doesn't list this hotel under Chiang Mai, because that's where it is. It is beautiful, unique and relaxing. The service is wonderful, the setting pristine and there are very few hotels in Thailand, or Asia for that matter that can match it. Set on a rice paddy, the views from the rooms are spectacular. The staff... More

An oasis of comfort and spectacular service. We were so happy with our whole experience at this resort. Friendly and competent staff made our stay so comfortable. The restaurants were superb. The most beautiful floating flower displays throughout the grounds added a wow factor to the already breathtaking serene views of the property. More

I initially was not keen on staying in an American resort-property while in Thailand...I researched and my friends at Abercronmbie and Kent were insistent I give it a try with an open mind... Well, I could not have been more wrong!!! This Four Seasons is located in the most serene and beautiful terraced valley with working rice fields on the... More

Had not been back to Chiang Mai for nearly 20 years. The city has deteriorated terribly due to too much tourism. Shocking, fact. But the Four Seasons provided a welcome retreat from reality More

Positives. Great staff, excellent service, lovely gardens. Excellent thai restaurant, handy location for the outdoor activities. Negatives. Poor 'Italian' restaurant which stank of chip fat, as did the surrounding area including the gym and pool. 40 min drive to city centre and the free transfer bus is irregular. Whole resort has a dated feel about it-FS are intent on building new... More

We stayed at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai for 3 nights over the christmas holiday with our seven year old daughter. Resorts and seven year olds don't always go together, but the hotel staff went out of their way to make this a wonderful stay and memorable experience for all of us. Three examples beyond the expected: 1. Flower arranging... More

Loved this resort and wish we had stayed longer. It's not near the old city so do know this before you book. That was a surprise to us as I didn't do much research but it worked out well. The food here is excellent. Pools are stunning by way too cold. Excellent gym. The cooking class and market visit was... More

This is truly a very special place to stay that borders on being magical. Set in a jungle with views of a beautiful mountain, this small spread out resort barely feels like a hotel and instead feels more like being on a game reserve in a land far far away. This unique experience starts at the small and charming open... More
