A really great b&b, lovely garden and the best breakfast we ve had in a month of travel. Liz and Tony were great, made us feel really welcome. Lovely decor especially in the our bedroom, the twin, and the breakfast room. Nice setting too, a little out of the way but not much and very peaceful. Heartily recommend it. More

We stayed at the Old Blue House for three nights and rate it every bit as highly as previous reviewers. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The room was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast with lots of homemade bread, jams and even the eggs when the chickens cooperate to provide them! This B&B is excellent... Stayed here for one night after seeing the amazing Bellowhead in Frome,( but that's another review, another time/place!). The Old Blue House had been warmly recommended by friends and they were not wrong. Cosy but spacious, clean and welcoming. Friendly pets and even friendlier hosts. Tasty and varied breakfast and a good cuppa. if you are there at the right... More

My partner & I spent a night here last weekend on a visit to see a concert in nearby Frome and were hugely impressed by our stay. We received the friendliest of welcomes, were treated like old friends, and slept soundly in a comfortable bed in a peaceful room. The breakfast was amazing! - we settled for the full English... One or more nights: you will stay better than at home. You'll love the house, the room, the garden, even the pets. Everything is cured in detail. Breakfast and tea-time is wonderful and delicious (you will love Liz's banana muffin). That's what a bed and breakfast should always be. Thanks Liz for all her attentions. Not so far from Stratford... More

We arrived at the B&B late in the evening with a small child, the welcome we recieved was warm and friendly. The room was perfect for a small family with books and toy for them to play with. The breakfast was from fresh fruit, a full english, home made bread and jams all beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble for... More

As a single traveller attending a nearby event my weekend was totally enhanced by my stay at The Old Blue House B&B. I was greeted with such a warm welcome from the proprietors with tea and homeade cakes, friendly pets, and an immaculately clean and comfortable room, with plenty of well chosen refreshments. Breakfast offered a wide range of choice,... More

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner is very friendly, welcoming and personable. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - home cooked bread and home-made jam were particular highlights. As a vegetarian, I had plenty of choice and my wife really enjoyed her traditional breakfast. Overall, a friendly comfortable stay with great food and excellent... More
